Really wish the SunWolves wouldn't play in Singapore, I know it's for the benefit of the South Africans (what isn't?) but it defeats the purpose of their inclusion a bit. Would be great to see the Singapore games at Kobe, Hanazono or Kyushu instead.

So the Sharks don't have to play any NZ teams this year! Certainly not a level playing field & shows how f@*cked the conference set-up is.

I wonder if the SunWolves would get more of a crowd in Thailand?

I thought that was part of the reason they got a team, they agreed to play in Singapore

Things I learned from the brumbies.

Despite the score, I think they might be tougher to beat than the Reds.

They still came close to winning despite Not really consistently winning contact, maintaining possession or attacking the breakdown

G's Gardner did his absolute best to keep them in the game by ignoring several pivotal penalties.

Their set piece scores all came from the same risky, dodgy throw to the front line out call. The sharks didn't cover it after the first.

They stood off an astounding number of rucks

They are delighted to give away multiple penalties on their goal line and will virtually ignore any warning.

If the sharks hadn't put almost every pass behind the runner, it wouldn't have been as close.

But the brumbies (again) scored enough points to make it close despite looking badly beaten for long periods

Anal Angus was definitely generous he Brums. I didn't know that the ref has to call that the ball is out of a ruck before the opposition can grab it, is that true? Because 1 of the turnovers by the Sharks at the end looked legit, but Angus says "I didn't say it was out". Sharks player looked a bit nonplussed.

Shork was saying he thought he heard a call.

There's no requirement for the ref to call the ball out that I'm aware of. I think it's a courtesy for lineal decisions.

Gus was pretty generous with what constitutes in the ruck all night, so I thought he was pretty ok with that call.

What constitutes on your feet had a lot to do with what colour your jersey was though.

I'm worried that he might officiate next week and we've ditched the white away jersey.

Can someone please tell me how much we are paying to make the finals and which betting website I need to join??
After watching the Aussie sides tonight I think we are a decent chance. We probably won't beat any of the kiwi teams but we only need to finish top of our conference which is doable

So how does getting rid of any team, of which apparently many of the players are only the second best and not worthy of national honours, in Oz make the wallabies better when the so called best teams, with the best talent Oz has, lose so badly.

How is the force/rebels stealing talent when that talent is supposed to be third on the list at the so called premier clubs. I.e. Would they take\identified any of our current players and start them?

we don't steal players we offer contract and player opt to come or stay.. maybe the NSW and QLD unions need to look at player conditions and why they leaving.. If you don't get selected then that means you warm the bench..so why not move to somewhere you will get game time.. Also why play with over paid princesses who get double you do to do the same job.. Eg the Hunts and falous it a 23 man game so all should be on a pay scale due to time at club and experience.. One NSW supporter reckon they are marketing tool to bring the crowds well it has not worked in my opinion
