1 of their new players is included in the 4 (Waisake Naholo)

Also get your numbers right for Robbie Coleman, he has started 49 Super Rugby games and more importantly he started 38 of the last 43 Brumbies Super Rugby games a was a used sub for the remaining 5 games.

You can be pessimist if you want but you do not need to put players achievements down.
I thought it was 6. Irrespectively a large proportion of the other squad players have rep experience NZ U20, Māori All Blacks, SA Babbas, these weren't guys playing club rugby in NSW or turning out for neddies in front of 50 people. They still overachieved and did exceptionally well, but the two teams are incomparable. We have a some good players, but in order to challenge for a top 10 spot we need 10/12 players that are either in the Wallabies setup or on the fringes.

Having these ridiculously high expectations is a sure fire way to ensure the Force franchise folds. People see it as a failure, but they are doing the best they can with the limited resources they have.

I think the simple fact is that we won't ever have a team full of internationals as the ARU would never support it. Plus it would need bucket loads of cash that we'll never have - unless we could get Bernie Ecclestone to make us his next project?!

Yes I agree. We need to accept that and accept that we are never going to be any better than a mid table team at best and stop getting so sad when we finish at the bottom of the table. With the squad we have that's exactly where we should be, there would be something very wrong if we ended up in the top 5.

Or maybe enough of our players develop into genuine Super standard players and play consistently well enough to make the playoffs. Nothing you are saying is a great revelation to most of us. I'd just prefer to assume the worst but hope for better.

Oh well, lets all see how this season pans out. I am just hoping that we do better than last year and based on the ins and outs, it would seem that we have a stronger and more balanced team than last year. Can't wait for the season to start.

Can't do worse than zero home wins.

Super Rugby had barely adjusted to cope with the Force's inclusion after 5 years. The Rebels came straight in and rocked that all back out of place. Our teams will become strong again but only when the development pathways (U20 and more local players from WA and VIC) adapt to manage the strain.

I would be happy with mid table finishes! I'd also be happy if we didn't do the standard last 20 min fade out...

Yeah I can't see mid table happening, I'd be happy with 5 wins and a few close losses.

I'll be happy to see them win at home.

If they do it once in the early part of the season I might re-evaluate

From a business perspective, if they can't win at home or can barely mange more than 1 or 2 wins a season then they need to fold, this is based on the assumption crowds will continue to dwindle as they continue to lose. It's unfair to expect the ARU or anyone else to sub us because we can't sell enough tickets.
