Keeping kids involved in organised sport.

Recent study looking into organised team sport suggests they need to evolve. Participation rates peak by age 11 but fall thereafter. Of interest is that Rugby barely makes the top 20 activities..

I was not expecting such a gap in between Rugby League and Union. A bit over 69k more children are involved in League versus Union. That represent 133% more participation.

For what it's worth, these numbers don't include kids who only play through school - not sure if that would make the gap smaller or larger.
