yeah - we weren't up to it today. Very slow off the line in defense.

But that Yellow! WOW, i could understand it if he was moving forward, but he wasn't, he was stationary, and did not move. He was run into by Yarde, and won the collision (which is pretty standard). Worst call of the tour.

If that is a yellow, we may as well play soccer.

If that knock on is a try, why bother with a TMO.

No doubt England deserved the win, but the above applies no matter what teams are on the field.

It's good to see home town decisions still happen with neutral referees...

Even though the laws state a shoulder charge, no arms, is only a penalty the player didn't have the ball. Yellow card these days and so it should be.

Definitely not a YC in my book specially when you are on the wing and would look like a fool if a player makes a dummy and runs past you!
You have to commit yourself and it is what DHP did.
But in saying all of this England were the better team and deserve to win.

Don't think that will break the ABs record as they will lose at least 1 of their Six Nations game, and I believe that it might be the French that will beat them as they are looking like a 'French' team again playing with flair and continuity under Guy Noves!

The game I was watching saw Mike Brown come up against DHP; then after a marginally late hit with no arms, went over on his ankle ...
Twickenham has a huge number of cameras and he got caught as it was right in front of the touch judge who referred it !
Tough decision yes, affected the game no ... he'd still make a better fullback than Folau on this tour's performances

Australia has a real problem at 9 now - Phipps bottled it, had a great opportunity for a big hit on his oppo but took the dummy. Frisby is still learning the game at test level, but at least takes a few chances.

Foley's options in 2H closed out by great D & kept Hodge in check but England's tries from Joseph (intercept) & Youngs (Q tap) came from great pressure.

But check out Chieka's "finishers" ... Robertson on 53" and most others post 70". Not optimal usage?!

FYI - Arms are those long things connected to the shoulders.

Simple ... complete disbelief that Hooper was in a breakdown & not out wide !
No wonder he avoids them ...

It ended a pretty disappointing season. 6 wins from 15 starts is pretty sub standard. The wallabies are playing a style of rugby that we want to watch. In many of the tests this year they have played patches of rugby that show us what they have been working on and it seems that maybe there are some very good times ahead. The first 60 mins of Bledisloe 3 , the Welsh test, the second half against Ireland and the first 25 mins against England showed a dominance, flare, continuity and attacking skill that was out of the top drawer. If they are able to develop a bit more ruthlessness in taking the opportunities they are creating then they will start winning games when they get a momentum going. They blow a lot of try scoring chances. I feel that will improve. If they can raise the bar to that standard for full test matches, we may yet return to the top of world rugby.
I feel there are some really great times ahead
