Looks like a clean break though. Hasn't shattered or spiralated

Lance's chance over before it begins

Jono Lance has been hit with another injury blow, breaking his arm against the French Barbarians.

Lance’s night was ended just three minutes into the Wallaby XV’s 19-11 loss to the Barbarians, with the playmaker clutching his arm as he made his way off the ground.

The 26-year-old looks set for surgery on the injury, heading to hospital during the game for X-Rays.

“He’s fractured his arm so it’s an operation by the looks of it.” he said.

“It’s probably the only position we didn’t have coverage on so it hurt us a little bit but they adapted and it’s part of the learning process - That’s why we have midweek games."

"It's really disappointing, but it's something you can't control and it's part of the game.

"I am sure he'll get the best medical care possible and be back for Super Rugby."

"It's really disappointing, but it's something you can't control and it's part of the game." Said the former Wallabies Assistant.

"I am sure he'll get the best medical care possible and be back for Super Rugby."

It’s another cruel injury for the back, who has been unlucky with his body through his career, but the Force playmaker is expected to be back in action for next year’s Super Rugby competition.

Lance missed six weeks of this year’s season with a pec injury after a promising start to the year and a strong back end of 2016 in the NRC for the Perth Spirit earned him a late call-up into the Wallabies’ matchday 23 to face France last weekend.
