Oh, that's ok then. It's just that it sounded to me like sympathy and support for some drunk who staggered into JB's looking for a job paying $200,000 plus for doing nothing.

    Lot of it about.

Seriously, how many times do we have to vote no! If we do get it, will they have as many referendums to get rid of it again!

I grew up with it in NSW and thought it was great but when we had the 3 year trial here in Perth it was a pain in the neck. We get enough sunlight here in Perth. In the peak of summer its still light at 8.30pm do you really want it till 9.30pm? Enough! I have spoken!

You know TWF has been around a while when a DLS argument gets another run. Almost as long lived as the AFL GF ticket thread.

I voted no as I cant see the justification to tinker with clocks just to satisfy the Coffee Club and Pedal Mafia.
We still have same number of daylight hours as before, rather than pissing off the farmers just bloody get up an hour earlier! There's a lot of scientific and anecdotal evidence that daylight savings is actually a bad thing.

What we really need is a way to finish work earlier.

Kids won't go to bed? Simple solution - don't have kids.
