Parramatta Has Just Signed A TERRIFYINGLY Good Player

Eels fans may still be licking their wounds having lost Jarryd Hayne but that could be done and dusted as they look to have found a new star.

Blaise Barnes is only 18 and the schoolboy rugby sensation has made a massive impression because of his blistering pace, regular scoring, and an incredible step that reminds of Brad Fittler. As you can see in the video below, the kid CAN tackle, too.
He is also managed by the same team who look after another Eels Rugby convert, Tepai Moeroa.
"I grew up playing league and wanted to get back into it eventually," Barnes told Fairfax Media.
"There were a few offers, but Parramatta are a good club, their under 20s has a good program and there's a good feel around the place. That's why I chose them."
Barnes has played a lot of his footy at fullback but has a desire to play in the halves. Watch the video below.

So he's run around a lot in schoolboy rugby, but by the looks of his highlight reel he plays his reps footy at number 23?

If he can't make the run on team in an age grade side how much of a gun is he?

Or is it that whenever he's hit the field as a starter he doesn't have quite as much spark?

I'm not trying to bag the kid, but is it an indication that the sky is falling if we lose a kid who looks like a fringe option for the Tahs at best?
