    Wallabies vs Springboks Pretoria 2016

HAYLETT-PETTY AND COLEMAN NAMED FOR SPRINGBOKS SHOWDOWN

Western Force stars Dane Haylett-Petty and Adam Coleman have been named to start against the Spinboks in Pretoria on Saturday night in what will be both men's first Test in South Africa.

Head coach Michael Cheika has named Sean McMahon to start at number 8 for the injured David Pocock who has been ruled out of the remainder of the Rugby Championship after breaking his hand against Argentina two weeks ago.

While not overly experienced at the back of the scrum at Super Rugby level, McMahon replaced Pocock for the final two Tests in Australia’s June series against England.

McMahon’s inclusion is the only change to the Wallabies starting team that defeated Argentina in Perth two weeks ago.

In what has been a long time coming, Sefa Naivalu has been included on the extended bench for his potential Test debut, making him Wallaby number 900.

Fijian-born Naivalu became eligible for the Wallabies to represent Australia on September 18 having played three years of Super Rugby with the Melbourne Rebels.

In other changes, Kane Douglas returns to the match day 23 on the bench having being dropped against Argentina, with Rory Arnold making way for him.

James Hanson will return to the Test arena for the first time in over a year, being named as Stephen Moore’s back-up after Tatafu Polota-Nau was ruled out of the two-week tour with a broken arm.

With McMahon’s promotion to the starting side, Scott Fardy has also been named on the extended bench in what will be his first Test since the second Bledisloe in Wellington.

The Wallabies currently sit second on the Rugby Championship ladder but head to Pretoria in search of their first ever victory at Loftus Versfeld, having lost all six matches at the ground.

The Wallabies play the Springboks at 11:00PM Saturday AWST.

With this team winning it's last two tests Cheika was only ever going to make forced changes through injury.

I can understand dog missing out, with pocock injured and mcmahon in, we need somebody in the 22 who will attack the ball on the floor, mccalman is ok at that, but fards is better.

Naivalu has similar speed and finishing to morahan and is a warehousing selection

I'd rather Benny Mac get fully fit again before pulling on the jersey against the likes of the Boks and Argies.

Barnes refereeing the twice in a row. We won last time he reffed, so here's hoping...

Coming off the bench will give Fardy more time to check out the camera angles. Ah all those cameras what is my best side, poser.

I assume hell be typically pedantic and technical as usual, itll probably hurt us in the set piece, but well get more than compensated in general play.

I kinda like Barnes. It's not hard to get past his pickiness when you remember how many times he has pissed off the AB supporters.

How good is it to see them running out of their own 22
