Which spirit players do fox sports think are shining?

    Ammon Matuauto — Perth Spirit

The Western Force has struggled for points in the past few seasons, but Perth Spirit’s outside centre Ammon Matuauto showed on Saturday that he has challenge a defensive line.

Matuauto’s combination with Ben Tapuai in the midfield outside Jono Lance was impressive.

The 30-year-old broke the line on a number of occasions at Concord Oval and he showed raw pace in scoring his side’s third try off the back of a Marcel Brache kick.

    SHAMBECKLER VUI (PERTH SPIRIT)

    Great name, plenty of game.

The big prop went viral in June when he scored a rampaging 40m try playing for Australia at the under-20 World Cup.

In the NRC, Vui has scored one try and made two linebreaks and three linebreak assists, impressing with some skilful offloads and touches.

Sydney-born, Vui grew up in Queensland before deciding to make the move west.

“I just saw the Future Force as a really good pathway for me,” Vui told the Force website in April.

My goal is obviously to play Super Rugby and this program linked with the Force looked like the best way to go about it.”

Loved the comment on the Green Gold team of the week for Jono Lance:

They are going to have to retire this jersey at the end of the year given the regularity that Jono Lance is selected in it. Lance was again super impressive on the weekend and kept the Spirit in the game and looked dangerous every time he got the ball.

Simon Cron: “People talk about winning and losing all the time and they are critical, but there’s a process to get into and it’s the ability to stay present, do your job and execute skills under pressure.”

Lets just hope that the injury gods will be with us this year and not deprive us of our top #10 player!

Yes, please let the No. 10 curse go mess with someone else this season!

Spotted the comment about the #8 in the Green and Gold article

"Isi finally snags a starting jersey in this team despite being one of the competition’s standout players all season. Likely to be off to the Force next year, Isi was relentless with the ball in hand and has a bright future in Australian rugby."

Anyone know anything else about this?

Kit manager needs to lose the 10 jersey and have the Fly Half play in 22.

Brett McKay who writes on the Roar website has said the Force have got him but I haven't seen anything official
