Force sign NRL star Curtis Rona

Western Force have snared Canterbury Bulldogs try-scoring sensation Curtis Rona, bringing the NRL star home to Perth and a return to rugby union for two seasons.
Rona asked for an early release from his Bulldogs contract after talks with Wallabies coach Michael Cheika on Sunday and following weeks of negotiations with the Force and the Australian Rugby Union, as revealed in The West Australian two months ago.
Rona, 24, one of the NRL’s most promising back line stars was on the verge of an international league career with New Zealand and interim Force coach Dave Wessels said the club was “ecstatic” about the signing.

That is exactly what we have been missing, someone that can get over the try line and finish off, there are some more clips on you tube of some real good try completions.

Highlight reels tend to concentrate on the tries rather than the tackles.

Over the past few weeks he has played at centre and has had to make many tackles. Bulldogs are through to the finals keep an eye on him during the games. He is impressive.

if we use the "Gotta go forward before you go wide" approach the lads may as well stay at home.

Yeah, he did OK. But the opposition was pretty ordinary, so I wouldn't read too much into that.
