We DON'T want to draft the next ES wunderkind! We just need a fair go at some seasoned professionals to help develop OUR next wunderkind. Then maybe he doesn't need to play 3 seasons in Europe and then pay his own freight for some pre-season extras in the USA in order to make it.

Remembering, if Billy Boy wanted the Force dead, all he had to do was wait, there was most probably a season left in it.

that's very true Ralto, but there are many options between a dead force and hurting the establishment to make the force successful.

I suspect, regardless of his desire, he won't be allowed to do anything it takes to make the force genuinely successful, he probably only has a mandate to make it not bleed so much money that it folds.

But that's the cynic in me talking. The optimist looks at all the concessions that have been thrown at everybody else in the country and hopes that finally well get our share.
