Likewise and that Lions game illustrated to me how much I hate Subiaco Oval.

Just an awful stadium for sport.

Ditto! What made it worse is that they tried to tell us those were the gold section and we were behind the try line! Freaking con job!

Yes, interesting that the ticketing zones appear to be pretty much exactly the same this year

There is a small piece in The West about saying that ARU Alliance with Force commences today and that we are trying for a Bledisloe at the new stadium while ANZ is under renovation from 2018

    Perth keen on Bledisloe match

The State Government is interested in hosting a Bledisloe Cup Test at the new Perth Stadium.

The ARU needs a home for the Australia-New Zealand clash for four years with Sydney’s ANZ Stadium getting a $700 million facelift from 2018.

“We’re interested in hosting the Bledisloe Cup and we’re actively assessing the opportunity,” acting executive director of events for Tourism WA Saskia Doherty said.

The Western Force will fall under ARU control today in an alliance that makes all players and staff employees of the governing body.

The move has saved the Force from falling into a bigger financial hole, ensures the ARU has five Super Rugby teams until 2020 to meet broadcast requirements and gives RugbyWA the opportunity to buy back the licence from the governing body.

It will be like watching Rugby at Subi... as it doesn't accommodate for Rugby for soccer. .. Or have I missed something?

I'm pretty sure the new stadium will have retractable seating to cater for the rectangular sports. At least, that's what I last heard.

    Negative.

Accommodates rectangular sports with up to 5,000 drop in seats on all four sides of the pitch boundary, bringing fans closer to the action.
