The good thing is we here at TWF do not select the Wallabies Team, if both Kafe and Marto picked him in "their" hypotheticals, he's shoe in with Chiek

The 10-12-13-15 choices will be interesting this time around. Lots of options for a change considering Toomua and Beale's absence.

Pretty easy to forget all the good when you're a Kiwi talking about any Wallaby.

It might shit me, but their team has earned them the right to a certain confidence, It's unfortunate when that turns into a blind arrogance.

Yes, Dane was shown up one-on-one by a good speedy back.

Point 1, well he's hardly the first choice for the Wallabies, there is a bit of an injury crisis in his position and he's likely to get a cap out of it (a la Stephen Donald)
Point 2, you don't need to play like an All Black to play for the Wallabies, if we try to be better than them at what they do, we'll always be playing catch up, we need to be better than them at something different which disrupts what they do....IMHO that's the only way to beat them.
Point 3, He's probably going to be picked not because of his defense (which actually isn't that bad) or for his attack (which, I admit, does have some holes) but for his work with the high ball, an area where Australia's best are sadly lacking. The high ball is one of the reasons Izzy is the first man picked in any Wallaby backline, they simply don't have anybody else who can catch.

Here endeth the attempt to educate a stone

The Brumbies have 10, Tahs 10, Reds 9, Rebels 4, Force 4, and one each from Harlequins and Bordeaux.

Quite how the Reds (3 wins from 12) have double the number Wallabies as the Rebels (5 wins from 11) is a mystery known only to the selectors.

yep, I know the score jargs but my point was that Scotland shouldnt be seen as Australia's whipping boys as their recent record shows.
Oh, regarding that world cup game - this......
"After the match, World Rugby issued a statement over referee Craig Joubert's controversial decision to award a late penalty to Australia. The report concluded that while Joubert could not have consulted TMO at the time, his decision was in fact wrong, as the replay showed that Australia's Nick Phipps had played the ball before Scotland's Jon Welsh received it. The correct call should have been a scrum awarded to Australia for the original knock-on"

Congrats to all our boys for making the squad, especially Coleman.

Houston, Horwill, Nabuli Meh. Stirzaker can count himself unlucky.

Because Cheika isn't picking the team on a ratio of games won - I think he has a more sophisticated approach.

After his last performance I can't believe anyone would consider Skelton - Cheika has him there for tackling dummy or something.

And DHP, both deserved IMHO - wouldn't have selected Luke M, but hope he does well regardless. Pleased we got 4
