Ravouvou and (Pio) Tuwai out injured - Dakuwaqa and Hayne brought in as replacements. Looks like he'll get a run after all.

That'll be interesting to watch, how will he transition from the 30 second activity and 5 minutes rest that he's been on for the last 18 months to 7 solid minutes of Max intensity power.

I suspect it's his motor that'll be the issue more than his skills

A couple of cameo appearances when pool games are already in the bag.

He's a long shot, again. But after what he's achieved so far I'm not going to say he can't get the necessary aerobic work done in 3 months. GPS data says that, on average these days, a Mungo Fullback covers comparable meters per game to an AFL mid fielder. So he has had good capacity in the recent past. This will be another step up though.

Probably a great deal more thinking playing something based on real rugby though
I hope they checked to make sure he remembers how to count past 5

Does learning an NFL play book in a couple of months count? Talk about removing all doubt! Well done.

Surely they don't count very high though. The plays barely go for 5 seconds

Actually, sixty pages of that looks pretty close to it.

Sixty pages actually would be a pretty simple system. As juniors we had about that (@ 2 plays per page) as our 'standard' plays, plus whatever plays the coaches produced week-to-week for the next opponents (usually 4-5 specials).
