I believe that they are still training with us

    Onehunga Havilli
    Gus Taylor
    James Verity-Amm
    Nuade Wessels
Riley Winter and Gus Taylor were both cut from the FF at the end of last season, Riley is playing in Ireland and last I heard Gus was in the U.K. but may return to WA.

Not sure what you mean by no one injured but Gus has gone pretty much for all next season.

Purely names with contracts, not accounting for injury. The big question to follow up with is, what is the team list accounting for injury

I believe Gus C, Luke B the only likely injuries to kick off with Gus long term and Luke may be ready for the start of the seaon

I think our depth is better than ever when RHP, Stander, Naisarani can't even make your 23 and Tessman, Prior, Coleman on the bench etc

I would start Coleman ahead of Burton at least at the start of the season until Luke proves himself a better option.

Good to see a few starters from last year keeping the bench warm.

A lot more competition just to get into the 23 now.

The Waratahs have just named their squad for 2017. Interesting to compare with our Force 2017 squad. Maybe I'm biased, but I reckon we have a better tight 5 and back row than them and we at least match them across the rest of the first 15. What do you think?

Then look at the Brumbies squad very light on in the inside and outside backs.
    INSIDE BACKS
    Anthony Fainga’a
    Kyle Godwin
    Jordan Jackson-Hope
    Nick Jooste
    Christian Lealiifano
    OUTSIDE BACKS
    Nigel Ah Wong
    James Dargaville
    Tevita Kuridrani
    Andrew Smith
    Henry Speight
    Lausii Taliauli

Qld is the dad's army of Super Rugby with all the old players coming back.
    Moore
    Genia
    Higginbottom
    Smith
    Denis

The Force will be very competitive in the Aus conference if the backs combinations can click early and the forwards continue the improvement shown last year, and during the NRC.

I love the brumbie's enthusiasm for listing lealiifano as a playing member of the squad. But he's got bigger things going on than rugby though.

Hopefully he can get back out there though!!!

Without wanting to make light of his condition, look at who else they've got for 10.....

Kyle has played there before, but the last time I remember him doing it (U20s World Cup) didn't look like a stellar performance for me, and he appears to have lost a lot of confidence in his running and passing since then. Jooste looks promising but is still incredibly green I've never heard of Jordan Jackson-Hope, he might be "the next big thing", but even if he is, who plays bench? and Ant Fainga'a really only brings solid rushing defense to the table.

The stocks are thin enough for them to be sweating on a miracle recovery methinks.

Jordan Jackson-hope was in the Aus U/20s this year as well as in the Brumbies squad. Only a slight fella at 1.75 m tall and 80 kgs wringing wet. Godwin will have to play 12 if Jooste or Jackson-hope is at 10. When we played Canberra in the NRC, Jooste and Jackson-hope were at 10 and 12 and their defense was non existent. With no Pocock there to help plug the gaps in d, i would not play them in Super Rugby yet.

Probably not, based on his form last year he probably would have struggled to find a spot in the starting 15 at the Force this year.
