    Time to stump up

So anyone want to change their tips for the final placings this year?

Maybe Perth-Baysie for Premiers? Is Wests not all that as I was told continuously that they were a lock in for the cup and the rest were playing minor roles. Neddies looked strong on the weekend. Uni I expected more from them against Soaks

Seems like a few clubs have a big gap between prems and reserves etc... how is this going to affect the comp once the backs start breaking their hairstyles? Seems like 3rds - 4ths is low on numbers all across the board causing depth problems

Anything major come of the Under 20's ? Seems that went off without a hitch?

5ths still not up and running ... still viable or should this be reduced to a 10 week competition

ARKS prem team beaten this weekend? What's happened there?

Let's see if we can go a whole thread without blaming RugbyWA for something

They've been in 5th grade in the past so I would imagine that will continue?

They'll be in 5th Grade. They had a Scratch match vs Curtin's 5th Grade side last Saturday and won.

That's OK, Malcolm Turnbull and Bill Shorten are teaming up to ensure that we have the strongest economy in Australia again before long.

Even Colin Barnett can't bugger that up!

Seems like the economy is hitting both grades and juniors with some clubs being well down in numbers. Maybe the cheap fees in Mungo is starting to take effect. Some as little as $100.00

Is that what it is, that's why they're going to league.

Did Neddies really get 9 colts from Southern Lions? That must be a massive blow. I heard it on that podcast last night

Quite a few Lions lads have turned up. They get free fees and kit but don't know if they get anything else. Maybe lions just have lots of spare players?

If it's true another case of Nedlands doing the wrong thing for rugby in WA. This is the sort of thing that drives the fringe players away from the game.

Spend the money developing your own Juniors and stop pinching them from other clubs.

Probably best direct your enquiry to Dogga or one of the committee. I'm just a lower grade player so don't know much of the politics. Neddies won colts last year so maybe that brought them across. We seem to have lots of players from other perth clubs this year, dont know why.

Sounds like according to the podcast that 2 went over and the rest followed them. Must have been popular guys .. maybe they could buy the beers or something. Still a shame I hope it doesn't derail the lions too badly

I think its a case of following a good coach - Ex Samoa - ex 2 - 3 world cup appearances if my sources serve me.

Good coach and free fees .... Good combination I reckon. I see quite a few teams are doing free fees for colts. Paly, roodogs ... Kit be a clever move to keep them motivated
