Jermaine was part of the starting front row for the WA U20s last year. Probably deserved a better look in at Aus U20 level considering the guy behind Matt Sandell was pretty average. I think he originally comes from Otago way but has been over here the last couple of years. He had a great NRC and was never bested in that competition. Now in the year he turns 21 he is the starting tighthead at Super Rugby level. Some might say too soon, but given the towelling the Millar got last week- maybe it won't be so bad. I will never complain about locals getting a start at Super Rugby level.

A SCUFFLE between Joe Tomane and teammate Ruan Smith has highlighted the Brumbies’ increased intensity as the 2016 pacesetters target the Super Rugby title.

Wallabies winger Tomane and prop Smith grappled and engaged in a push and shove before being separated during training on Wednesday, hours before flying out to Perth for Friday’s clash with Western Force.

No blood was spilt, and they shook hands minutes later.

Georgina the journo has been a bit out of the loop since having the Bub, and would say looking for a thread to try to get back into the groove, especially since Fox has dumped the numbat show on Thursday as opposed to this 360 (which with Marti is even worse). So attempting a 'ooooh Controversial' statement reignites her media future. Sorry- but it will happen over my & every WA rugby's dead body first. Nice try Georgy- you DID have my respect as a pretty good female sports journo, but I guess that's gone down the toilet. Good luck with that, hope you don't mind having insulted all the women's rugby in WA as well!

I thought this was in the works when ARU bailed the Force out, and then grabbed the IP rights. Four years, that's plenty of notice, interesting to see what happens from now, or whether the culture of entitlement continues.

The story I heard was that some experts in WA weren't all that keen on him until it was pointed out that he could be lost to WA.
