This is my first post regarding club rugby since before the club Grand Final and until Foley is eventually sacked it is also my last. I refuse to dedicate half my life to something that is treated with such contempt by someone who is doing so much damage to the game in this state.
I'm done this time and that's something that I thought I'd never say.

Cole was offered a bundle to coach at Joondalup last year, $10,000 with another $10,000 to spend on players and that didn't include the backpocket payments that didn't go through the books apparently. More money than sense

Leaves Wests for a Chiefs development contract you have always spoken highly of this boy Westie
T Minkley leaves southern lions under 19s due to lack of opportunities in perth (not wanted by RWA)
Plays for horowhenua in heartland comp now being courted by prem clubs in Auck Chch and Wgtn
I believe he will be playing perms in wgtn
I also believe there will be 3 top line juniors playing in the Brisbane private school system on full scholarships next season sad day for wanneroo to loose 3 quality juniors who would have been a great help to the future not only in the prem grade but also at state level
And if you think the jooste boy will be back you must ask yourself would you come back to an organisation that asks you to leave the gym as you are no longer part of this setup
Not all of these boys would make it but they are highly regarded by there clubs and piers but due to the lack of opportunities being offered to this young brigade is it any wonder prem clubs have to steal from each other and the numbers are decreasing at a rapid rate
This shows RWA does nothing to support there local clubs to maintain its younger players and rugby strongholds are picking these players to create a stronger and more competitive environment for there competition while we sit back and start the shit fight of poaching and importing mercenaries

While this whole issue outlined above (and thanks for the info) is of concern I think we should be particularly worried about how Brisbane schools (read also: Brisbane clubs linked to the schools) can spot these kids and offer them scholarships, at age group state comps I would hazard a guess, while we seem to do nothing - and you are spot on, three from Wanneroo is worrying and must be a blow to them.
