Wasn't an overly Inspiring game from the stands.
Lei-lei in particular was MIA for the Vikings.

High on passion, low on skills. Neither of the Vikings big name players (Lealii & Alexander) did much, although the Viking scrum was better in the first half. The Brisbane backs (Frisby, McIntyre, Kerevi, Kurandrani, Hunt) were also pretty average

125 NRL matches - a lot of them at 5/8, 10 Origins and 12 Tests probably goes against that argument. 15 matches as an inside back for Biarritz likely does too.

Anyone recall Brian Bevan, 600 odd games for Warrington, hated getting tackled, good thing was he was fast enough - 700 tries.

Yeah I do. Probably explains why he played only 8 games for the Chooks scoring 0 tries before WW2 intervened. Then he pissed off to the Old Dart, never playing for either NSW or Australia.

U bet, like so many others after him, he knew it was an easy quid. Would have played aussie rules if it had been worth it.
