Boris Johnson vs 10 year old

HIS is one way to seal a trade deal.

Overzealous London mayor Boris Johnson has made international headlines for a sensational barnstorming hit-up during a game of rugby.

The only problem is the 51-year-old public figure was playing against 10-year-old Japanese children in a friendly game of touch football.

Johnson was celebrating the conclusion of a four-day trade visit to Japan by playing a game with students from Nihonbashi, Yaesu & Kyobashi Community Associations in Tokyo.

With the Brave Blossom’s winning plenty of international admiration for their shock Rugby World Cup win over South Africa, rugby appears to be quite trendy in Japan right now.

So, with the game underway, Johnson stepped up to the plate and grabbed the football for the standard photo opportunity for media covering his visit.
London Mayor Boris Johnson plays hard.

Unfortunately, the London Olympics celebrity should have just stuck with the simpler poses of shaking hands and kissing babies.

Johnson is seen struggling to breakthrough the defensive lines with the ball in hand early in the friendly street match, so he then decides to turn the heat up the next time he’s tossed the footy.

Running with the apparent conviction that England’s honour was on the line, Johnson, all 102kg of him, charges into a 10-year-old Japanese kid, who catapults backwards as the pair both crash to the ground in a pile of arms and legs.
    Yep, he actually didn’t stop.

    Whack. Kapow. Thunk.

It was the kind of hit we didn’t see once from England in their humiliating group-stage exit from their own Rugby World Cup.

Fortunately, when the dust settled, 10-year-old Toki Sekiguchi walked away unharmed.

The local said: “He felt a bit of pain, but it’s OK.”

Sekiguchi was even happy to pose for photos with the man who made his life flash before his eyes after Johnson gifted him an official Rugby World Cup ball.
Love the facial expressions in the background.

Japan is the next host of the Rugby World Cup in 2019.

That would be ABdeP Johnson. Sounds more South African. So maybe the man to save English rugby, after all
