Hope so. Wallabies scrum of late has been very encouraging

Isn't everyone's maul illegal these days?

Hopefully we gleefully and cynically drive over a couple tries from it against the Poms.

Once we've been shown to be good at it, a new law interpretation will be imminent.

How can a maul be illegal from the attacking team's side? The only way I can think of is obstruction or joining from the side.

Perhaps he's talking about the sliding back move which every team in the world do with the ball carrier at the back of the maul.....i'm entirely happy for both teams to be penalised consistently on that one.

Credit where credit's due, Beale has been great since replacing Horne. I was worried about his defense, but he's been pressuring the Poms into errors and tackling like a demon. The attack has been atypically sweet too, not overplaying his hand, not trying to put on another edition of the look at me show. well done that man.

Really pleased that the boys have endured a fired up English team, that stupid F@*king chariot song and a referee who seems to want to penalise them out of the game.

I'd be asking him to clean up the breakdown if it wasn't for the fact that Pocock is still winning turnovers I can't imagine there'll be one penalty for holding the ball in the entire game after what I've seen this half.

I don't get the role of the tmo, Poite asked the tmo what penalty should be given for the high tackle at the 69th minute. Surely that is his decision to make?
