Recycled ball. Knocked on to relieve the pressure

Hutchison (?) intercepted a pass to stop a Rising breakout from their own line.

    10 mins to go

    2 penalties against Perth.

Rangi stops Timani! Rangi tackling strong again.

Rising still going. Jack D cross kick to Marsters! Lacey just puts him touch as he goes over the line,

    Timani cramping up.

Cottell breaks out. Boys a bit tired now, eventually knock on.

Convincing performance this by the Spirit.

    1 min to go.

BUT PLACID scores for the Rising in the dying stages

    31-18

    time almost up

30 sec to go...Rising scored a try to deny Sprit a bonus point unless we get one soon

Forward pass by Melbourne (not by much) to end the game.

    Decent match.

Would have been nice to keep that one out.

I thought Hardwick and Louwrens were good.

I can see what all the hype about Konelio is, looked a real handful and heard he is line for a gig. Van Wyk did all the damage when he came on at scrum time.
On at least 3 occasions after numerous recycling up front and after the overlap was created out wide Rasolea chose to look for the closest defender to run into, bombed 2 tries, too one dimensional.
    Hardwick did put himself about.
Thought Cottrell could have done a bit more with that ball at the end instead of throwing a Hail Mary but apart from that he was also very physical at the breakdown.
Goodwin showed glimpses but still nowhere near what we know he is capable of.
Rising game plan was give it to Timani and didn't bring much else.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
