This is the email that I sent around my office today if anyone wants to steal it for their own office (or suggest your own idea below)!
It’s only two weeks until the kick-off of Rugby World Cup 2015 (AKA The Game They Play in Heaven ™). To celebrate, you are cordially invited to enter the official Perth office Rugby World Cup 2015 sweepstakes!
How does it work?
- $5 entry fee gets your name on one of these 20 envelopes on The Famous Greg Cornelsen 1975 Wall of Rugby (AKA the column and plant thingy behind Stephen Hart’s desk). Each envelope contains one of 20 national team cards, sealed inside at random.
- You will not know who is in your envelope – they will stay sealed where they are and will be opened at a morning tea before the final weekend of the tournament next month.
- Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and the 4 losing quarterfinalists. That’s a 40% chance of winning something – obviously, the better your team went the bigger the prize!
