Does anyone know how the heck the OG Div2 has been organised as the teams finishing 3,4 and 5 on the Ladder are through from the 3rd Grade comp and only the one finishing in 3rd on the Championship A grade.

Mandurah who finished 4th on the Championship A grade have beaten both Nedlands and Cottesloe (2nd and 3rd in the 3rd Grade comp) and are missing out. I would be spewing if I was in charge that club as no logic has been followed there. An yes I know that Palmyra ended with more points than Mandurah but hardly comparable as the level between the 2 competitions is obviously different as in the 30 games between the 2 comps A grade clubs scored 1030 points compared to a low 343 by the 3rd Grade clubs.

For me logic would have been 3rd and 4th of both Grades for the semi final.

The logical thing would be to have 3rd grade finals and champ club finals

That would be the logical thing but RugbyWA were obviously on meth when they came up with the format for this year.

Because of the cross over games it is arguable that a Finals format involving teams from comps would make more sense.

Can we get some scores from the lower grades all I have read on this site and RugbyWA is prems.

    Curtin 18- 12 Waneroo (OG Div 3)
    Curtin 32 - 14 Kalamunda (OG Div 1)
    Rocky 27 - 15 Nedlands (OG Div 1)

I think ARKs won their game in OG Div 2?

Arks won yesterday but I'm not sure of the score.

Palmyra beat Cottesloe in Open Grade Div 2 18-11.
Palmyra also beat ARKS in Open grade Div 3 28-27.
Rockingham beat Nedlands in Open Grade Div 1 but again I'm not 100% sure what the score was. Somewhere around 29ish to 21ish.

The Championship clubs domianted the 3&4ths Kalamunda best chance of a flag 3rd grade( who would beat our 2nds) were totaly outclassed by Curtin.

Was a very physical game, and when Kala scored early in the 2nd half, there were a few nervous looks among the boys (curtin). Apart from a few niggles here and there, a very good showpiece for rugby (albeit lower grade).

I believe the other Cott team won the other semi, but know not the score

Cott beat Kwinana 22-21 in that one Ecky. Big comeback by the Kwinana boys just fell short.
In the womens Wanneroo beat Kalamunda 22-12 and Cott beat Pally 17-10.

Yeah was very willing and competitive with a number of skirmishes flaring up. The young ref looked a bit intimidated by the fistys flying around the place. He should've gone to his cards earlier to clean the game up instead of letting it become a tit for tat ongoing fight match.
