Frankly if Mark Ella is for it that's the best reason to be against it.

    And I'm again' it!

There is a place for this. In an ideal world. For children aged 5-12/14. Combine the development resources of the two codes and let the players choose their path past that, according to their individual abilities, body types and personal preference.

Not my idea. Alec Evans and Wayne Bennett proposed this to counter the aggressive junior strategies of the AFL in NSW & Qld. Hasn't happenned of course. Too many people with their heads in the sand. Or maybe up their collective arses. But the idea gas merit IMO.

Should point out that this is the Magpies feeder side, not the Tigers.

And here was me thinking it'd be a NSW reps union side against a Qld reps league side, because they are the only two locates in the universe according to Mark Ella
