Thanks for the vid. Needs some sound though, the refs mic feed?

Far too many mistakes by Pally. Knock ons, lost lineouts, inacurracy from the halfback at crucial times and a lot of missed or passive tackles allowing Cott to have lots of momentum in the second half. Lineout is of most concern i think. I counted 7 lineout turnovers. A bit many. The change in defensive tactics put Pally under pressure. First half only 1 player contesting rucks leaving a good d line which kept Cott contained then they started contesting in greater numbers at the ruck which left more space for Cotts power runners.
Cott looked fit. Had decent pace of attack and good workrate off the ball. Scrum was a worry. Neither tighthead knew how to deal with Joe's boring tactics. Both tightheads got into some horrible body positions at engagement. No 6 was a standout. Good powerful ball carries. Louwrens moment of roid rage at 16:57 of first half should have incurred a yellow for mine. We should rename Cott Force 'A'. That little bit of a class edge was telling in the end.

    Cheers!

Yes we were quite impressed with Cott's performance (although always impartial), many handling errors for the home side and line outs and scrum were two key areas.

Cott look like they've mixed it up a bit from their 2014 game, as you pointed out they look very fit and when they ran the ball look very dangerous.

Got to have the ref mic audio for the coaches ect, but in coming weeks we'll separate the channels - ref right and our (bad) commentary on the left.

Soaks got dominated everywhere. Fail to see the hype about the Momsen twins. Got exposed and more than once. May have to do a reassessment.

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.
