Of course the AFL tribunal is useless.

All along the AFL has been on Essendon's side contrary to the belief of Essendon supporters. The AFL and Essendon have been stalling for time for the entire saga in order to minimise the damage done.

Honest athletes Australia wide would be applauding this.

Actually, I think that part of it is standard proceedure after an investigation. The actual penalties are handed down by the governing body. If that is unsatisfactory to the country's anti-doping body or WADA...well that's what is happening.

Athletes don't deal direct with ASADA. ASADA go via the tribunal of the sports governing body.
