Most relieved to hear that Pek has been given the all-clear and will fly home and be rested for the Reds game.

Adam Coleman a double caulking from the mongrel, thigh-high tackle by TPN.
Disappointed in this tackle by TPN as it's the type of tackle one expects from hasbeens in club rugby.
Deliberate intent to injure (or at least slow down).

Up until the tackle, Adam had been playing very well: taken 7 lineouts, 7 tackles, 9 rucks and 1 turnover.

5. Warrior McCalman subdues Palu. Was there a more fitting sight on Sunday than a blood-splattered Ben McCalman getting treatment on the sidelines and itching to get back into the fight? The Force No.8 was a huge presence on attack and defence, working off difficult ball from the base of the scrum and leading the defensive line with real aggression. A big game from the Wallaby negated the absence of Matt Hodgson and suggested that he will be a hard man to shift from the Wallabies' back row this season. **

Time for Mr Kearns to be shown the door or be given a job more in keeping with his skill set (cleaning toilets??).

At the very least he should never be on duty for a Waratahs game.

I think Cheika has done the right thing and admitted (either publicly or privately) what he thinks he can do to remedy the situation, maybe it's time for some players to follow his example!

From when I arrived at the ground 25 minutes before kick off, both teams were in the same heat as far I could see, yes it was steaming hot and the cloud cover came over right after kick off.

Must admit I did not pay too much attention to what the Tahs were actually doing in their warm up as I was more focused on our boys, but they were all at the same place!!!

The ref should be Nick Briant - a Kiwi; he reffed the Crusaders - Rebels game. He reffed us a couple of times last season (Brumbies and Rebels)

Watched a match report on FSN this morning. The only "Fair and Balanced" interview on the game came from KB who said that the Tahs were embarressed by their performance. So folks according to our Eastern States friends, the Force are still crap and the poor old Tahs just had an off day

Actually pretty glad to hear it, that means they are reading their own media units crap and won't be making any major adjustments. I hope that continues until the return match in Perth.
