if graham goes Jim Charmichael needs to go with him. seeing as he was the driving force to bring him over.

Arguably he's done worse with the Reds than with the Force. With us he managed ~30% wins with a team which was only winning around that under Mitchell; with the Reds he's gutted a championship side and managed to reduce the skill set of a number of players who have remained. Can we arrange to have him coach the Tahs next?

Agreed. There's an opening at the Tahs next year.

Any rumors that Mooney will be coach by the end of the month?

QRU management is actually very good and is by far the strongest business model in Australian rugby. But they certainly dropped the ball on this one. Its been a howler.

Over on GAGR they are saying that RG has pretty much lost the sheds, so the end is near. I predict that Stiles will be acting coach for balance of season while the QRU board go international for 2016.

    @ Rex

Don't think so, but I have a lot more time for Phil Mooney than the current clown.

The part that amazes me is how similar the current reds team is to what the force were like with him coaching.

Great pre-season talk about how well we have recruited - check

Recruit turns out to be an idiot (Ripia vs Hunt) - check

Poor fitness and lots of injuries - check

Complete lack of team cohesion, look like they met on the team bus - check

Endless excuses and appeals to our "bad luck" - check

They need to broom Stiles as well. He was only the worst Australian prop in the history of Australian rugby....also famous for playing with his pants pulled too high. Needs a pair of socks down the front to look more masculine.

Graham is a disaster. All of his teams are poorly coached. The backline alignments are amateur. The game plans are amateurish. The players quickly work it out when the coach is a dribbler. There must be a story into how this muppet talked his way into the upper echelons of professional coaching in Australia? Who's got the story? He must have a photo of someone important with someone more important's daughter?

    Hey Tic
Where do you get this from... All reports I have read is the QRU have been getting extra funds from the ARU to support it's player group.. The membership is falling, and they have lost alot of support over the KH debacle.. In the private sector any business alloeing this to happen would fail and go broke...

I still reckon KH moved from AFL tp Rugby due to the 3 strike rules in AFL and RG took the bait for KH to get out before he got caught.. He saw RG an easy target..

I thought if they lost all their first matches he would be gone after the Brumbies match. Maybe our loss to the reds has given him a slight reprieve. In any event surely his position is untenable and the reds are making calls to see who can replace him. Can't see Graham being offered a head coaching role in the future. Back to the future with either Mooney or EM.

Whether that's true or not, I don't see how the AFL three strikes policy is allowed to stand under Australuan Law. Doesn't ASADA have coercive power? If they do and the AFL is not reporting positive tests, aren't they guilty of an illegal cover up? Or do ASADA need to compell them to report positive results?
