Retail Store Manager

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated retail manager to take ownership of our Team Store, located at the state of the art Rugby Centre in Floreat and home of the Western Force.
In this role you will drive sales growth by applying your creative merchandising and display skills, commercial acumen and hands on customer service abilities. You will also be the "Face of the Force" greeting visitors, managing incoming Reception queries and assisting with general admin duties.
Key responsibilities in this position will include:
TEAM STORE
- Developing and implementing merchandising strategies to achieve sales objectives
- Preparing and refreshing merchandise displays to promote sales
- Managing stock levels and preparing inventory reports
- Performing end of day financial reconciliations
- Providing daily, weekly, monthly sales reports
RECEPTION
- Answering and directing incoming calls
- Greeting all visitors
- Providing general information for the general public, members and visitors
- Arranging courier and mail services
- Assisting with general administrative tasks
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in retail management and visual merchandising, and a strong understanding of retail concepts including inventory control, gross margins, mark ups etc. You will pride yourself in delivering superior customer service and thrive in a busy and diverse role. You will be well presented with excellent communication and relationship building skills.
This is a fulltime position working Monday to Friday with occasional weekend requirements during the professional rugby season. An attractive salary will be negotiated with other benefits including parking, gym access and active social club.
