John Welborn to retire (again) at 99 state caps!

You may have heard John "The Mayor" Welborn is pulling on the boots, strapping up his thighs and coming out of a very brief retirement to play against Samoa on the weekend. This match will notch up his 99th state cap.

The question is; Should the Mayor stay out of retirement for one more game to notch up his 100th State Cap? Or do we let him walk off the paddock into the sunset and retire with 99?

If he stayed on, when would his 100th be?

Given the Samoan match qualifies, I would think the match against Toshiba the following weekend would also...

Depending on injuries, he may well "have to" strap on the boots again to cover for us anyway and I'm sure he would prefer a more suitable departure than a yellow card....although Kearnsey and others would possibly suggest that is the single most suitable method

ahh he'll probably earn a living in the media now - much easier on his bones I would expect... would be nice to see him run off for his 100th, he seems very fit still!!
