You wouldn't risk touch attacking the outside centre channel so much. The bigger risk is that if your scrum is back pedaling or you don't take the line-out cleanly/at the back then it takes longer to get the ball to the 13 and that means the defence is better prepared for it. The opposition backs have played a bit together but they won't be the cohesive unit that the Spirit are. Mullins/White at 12/13 is a new pairing for Brissie.

There was more than one that didn't enhance their reputation, scrum was a debacle and Davis Tevita should have been on long before Turner

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

Pretty poor from the Spirit tonight.

Destroyed at Scrum time. Kicked the ball away too much and when they ran it they looked a bit slow.

Outplayed all over the park really.

Two weeks in a row our scum was monstered. Vey disappointing. Not all the collapses were the Spirits fault mind you. Old story ref decided we were bad, which we were to start with, so were responsible for everything wrong in the scrum area until the last 10 mins.
Just proud that the boys made it to the final and only lost by a try.

Ollie wasn't able to do a single thing to stop the oppo loose head from turning in and getting him side on. Pek was having trouble with the pressure, it all went to shit very quickly.

Joe Savage seemed to be more of a victim of other people's errors than anything else.

Sometimes I wondered whether the penalties were given depending on which side of the scrum the ref was standing.
