Dillyn Leyds, who was signed from the Western Force a few months ago, has finally arrived to take up his contract in Cape Town.

Of late, he has played for Perth Spirit in Australia's domestic National Rugby Championship (NRC) competition.

"Last season Dillyn was one of our best juniors and we're pleased to have him back. He is coming back at a good time and there won't be a problem with his fitness because he has been playing over the past few weekends.

"He will definitely be considered for selection this week because we can do with his experience."

I think he played well at the Spirit.

Odd that he got game-time in the NRC if he wasn't staying for next season; I thought that the RWA approach was to prepare for the 2015 Super Rugby season. I hope he comes back, because I thought he was excellent in the limit amount of time he got and will make a great player.

If he doesn't come back, I hope he gets a given chance in South Africa, which is tending to go for big backs.

could have been a last minute deal, with all their injuries opening up a spot.

Normally, I'd agree, but there were reports of him signing with Western Cape well before the NRC kicked off.

He was contracted until the end of September and the Force kept him till that time.Maybe they were hoping WP would release him from their contract.

As far back as March he was contracted for WP in the Currie Cup. With a few injuries there, and players of to the sevens, he might get his chance.
