Great game! And I don't mind losing my bucks on a game like that.
Let's hope this lends some strength and belief to the Wobblies.

I have to agree with you Jargs was a great game that went down to the wire... AAC ( 2 Dads ) deserved the MOM and the Crusaders were just not as clinical as normal... Missed tackles and the 2 kicks by Willie Hinds will haunt them in yrs to come...

Warratahs played well and stayed cool till the end ( with a wobbly patch at 50 mon mark )

Thought the game was over when Potgetor went off as he was a rock in the team...
Will be an interesting game in 2 weeks at the same stadium but I just dont think the wallabies can over come the ABs

A game worthy of a final.

And the headlines in tomorrow's NZ papers should be "McCaw penalty costs Crusaders Super Rugby final"

    Well done Tahs!

Great game. Nice odds for NSW to score first and win too.
Joubert went through a period towards the end where only one team was being refereed at the ruck. Recovered in time to ping McCaw though and justice done.

Now back to reality: TAHS SUCK!!!

Compounded further by the news that Mehrtens has been working with Bernard Foley this year to improve his kicking length..... true irony

I read somewhere that TPN was did a medial ligament in his knee???

Never good to hear of injury to anyone... but if true, does that not make Cheese Wallabies first choice hooker now?

Sad to hear of an injury ... Looks like the only way forward for young rising stars is thru injury these days Hooper and now Cheese

I have to admit, I thoroughly enjoyed that match, and was cheering (loudly) for the tahs. I was also excited that they won.

Any Aussie that went for the kiwis, you should be ashamed. Apart from the fact they are kiwis, Aussies always go for the underdog.

Great signs for the wallabies this year. Imagine Foley with a decent halfback! So many of Phipps passes were high, but Foleys long passes/cut outs were amazing!

Unfortunately the force will always be struggling without a class flyhalf.

It was a great game, any of AAC, Hooper or Foley could have been MOM for me, Foley has really come on strong. Got a bit pissed at the plaudits from the Fox commentators for Chieka as such a great coach who had done such an amazing job with them in just two years...fair dinkum look at the incredible squad he had.

Very glad they won, it will be a badly needed boost for Aus rugby, now if only the Wallabies can beat the ABs, rugby in Aus may be able to reinvigorate itself

Shared a couple of beers while watching the match with the Father-I-L of a former Wallaby and RUPA boss. Over here for business. Spent a lot of the time telling me how critical it is for Rugby for the Tahs to go well (as if I hadn't heard that before - ad nauseam.) He continued after the win along that line again until I just had to tell him what most of us think of the corrupt contracting system etc. He seemed genuinely surprised at that and asked me what I meant by it. I just gave him a few examples of how long some of our contracting negotiations had dragged on, waiting for the ARU to do their bit and how NSW & Co never seemed to have the same problem. Also mentioned the list of Mungo Marquees, the majority of who were all Queenslanders (the latest one from Minto in Qld ), who also mysteriously ended up in Powder Blue and he said he could see what I meant. But he still reckoned it was OK because Rugby just has to be successful in Sydney or the game is doomed. FFS.
