    Good on ya Shasta!

I am quite happy for the game to be über successful in Sydney IF it means that the benefits of that success are shared across the country. Unfortunately, that seems not to happen and that's why there's such a lukewarm reaction to the Tahs success. It's branch stacking pure and simple imo.

Is it not the same with the Sydney Swans in the AFL?

Unfortunately the force will always be struggling without a class flyhalf.[/QUOTE]

I figure we have class flyhalfs.

I'm not ashamed. I went for the underdogs (Crusaders).

when anyone says that what's good for the tahs is good for australian rugby they're normally the same people who believe that everything outside of NSW is part of another country.

No, the passes that Foley was putting out and the bison he had was superb. He also has a running and tackling game that is outstanding.

We do not have, or have yet to see develop into, that class o fly half.

Even with that tattoo on your back? I don't think I could ever have gone for the crusaders. That much success grates on me, until of course it's the force at the top

Yes, you'd walk a long way to acquire a bison of such quality.

But your point is taken, Foley was a class above even Danny Carter last night.......long may it continue (or at least until March)

The response to the response makes it look as though I have contradicted my self.
I think we have a class flyhalf and another in the making.
B.Foley has taken a lot of criticism before getting to this point, and he has had a standout second half of the season.
    Good stuff.
I will back Sias in what he is doing and what game plan is being followed as the Force progress.
A little more freedom, and a little less injury disruption.
I think Zac is almost there as well. He still looks to be trying to make too much happen too quickly. But that is hardly a criticism and the same had been pointed at B.Foley previously.

Given that opinion is everything to social media forums, out of interest who would you be looking at - realistically of course?

No Ali. In fact it is quite the opposite. Sydney is given support from the AFL, as are GWS, Gold Coast and Brisbane(?), in differring forms according their various circumstances. The purpose is to make those franchises competitive in regions that are not traditional strongholds. Even West Coast were given concessions in their initial seasons. It's called vision. What ARU seems to have OTOH is blinkers.

Zac had a lot of peoples (including a few on here, mine too) expectations on his shoulders, when he came back last year. That appeared to affect his game.

Sias stepped up in a big way when we needed someone. He and Hayward came on at the end of that Brumbies game and had a red hot crack & turned that game from a one sided disaster, and gave us a bit of hope. We then smashed the Rebs on Hodgo's 100th.

Sias' game has developed hugely this year. He's played a very big part in our revival. I'd be very happy if he stayed on.

Incidentally, my little girl's day care teacher (Mrs Ebersohn, Sias' cousin I believe) told my Force loving & investigative loves a yarn missus, that Sias loves it here & wants to stay. You find Force gossip in the weirdest of places sometimes.

    Yep, even still.
The tahs are filth. The sense of entitlement disgusts me.

Once they put on a wallabies jersey the individuals can be forgiven though

You can dislike the organisation(s) without extending that to the men on the field. Especially when the opposition are from overseas. Heck I always enjoy watching Manly play Mungo - and almost everyone detests Manly.

Even sides in Victoria such are supported by the AFL in what is pretty much bail out money and they still go on to make a loss. Not to mention the new equalisation measures that will effectively tax the big clubs like West Coast and Collingwood.

A lot of that is from the media though. If I could bring myself to go for Qld in 2011 anyone should be able to go for NSW for one night.

So glad someone brought that up -
I remember a few TWF crew @ jb's in 2008 cheering the saders when they beat the tahs in Christchurch.
