Match of the Round: Wests Scarborough (4) v Associates (5), Bennett Park, Scarborough
Last time they met: Associates 28 defeated Wests Scarborough 20 at Allen Park, Swanbourne.
With the only four rounds left in the Pindan Premier Grade, both Wests Scarborough and Associates will be looking to press their finals credentials in the ‘Belt-Up’ Match of the Round at Bennett Park on Saturday.

The Boars, who will host their Ladies Day on Saturday, currently sit fourth on the ladder, with both Associates and Kalamunda one point behind.

Wests Scarborough gained a percentage boost over Perth Bayswater last weekend, 39-17, thanks to three tries from winger Maia King.

Not to be outdone, Associates have proven to have plenty of firepower in their backline, including Dylan Sage and Ammon Matuauto – who have each crossed for nine tries this season, with Sage scoring four of them against Palmyra a fortnight ago.

Wests Scarborough assistant coach Greg Plimmer said Saturday represents an important match for his side.

“I think it might be do or die this weekend,” he said. “We want to hold our own in the scrum and if we can get some dominance over them that’s important for us.

“I think both teams realise where they are at and both teams will be going hard in both attack and defence.”

Associates coach Andy Cole says his side will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s tough 22-11 loss to Nedlands.

“You take every game as it is, so it is important to keep winning,” he said. "This is a huge game for us and it’s been like that for the last three weeks."

"The ‘mid table’ is pretty tight and you can’t afford to let games come to you, you have to go out and win them, and that’s certainly the case for us this weekend.”

Saturday’s match will also mark referee John Hill’s 200th Pindan Premier Grade game.

Wests Scarborough: 1. Dylan Crawford, 2. Du Ferris, 3. Justin Terry, 4. Riley Winter, 5. Rory Walton, 6. Matt O’Brien, 7. Kane Koteka, 8. Keith Andrews, 9. Sean Harwood, 10. Teava Te Rangi, 11. Saula Fifita, 12. Brad Lacey, 13. Maia King, 14. Marty Campbell, 15. Chance Bunce.

Nedlands (1) v Palmyra (7) at the Foreshore, Nedlands
Last time they met: Nedlands 29 defeated Palmyra 5 at Tompkins Park, Alfred Cove.
After a loss to Kalamunda last week, time is running out for Palmyra’s charge for the 2014 PIndan Premier Grade finals.

Paly sits 11 points off fourth place and would be looking at taking points for their remaining three matches, also relying on results to fall their way.

On the contrary, Nedlands will look to take another step towards cementing top spot as they for the 2014 Pindan Premier Grade minor premiership.

Nedlands have changed their front row from last week, with the inclusion of Lei Aholelei, Reuben O’Connell and Brandon O’Dea.

Nedlands: 1. Lei Aholelei, 2. Reuben O’Connell, 3. Brendon O’Dea, 4. Tyler Edwards, 5. Scott Stevens, 6. Jandre Van Der Westhuizen, 7. Shane Hemi, 8. Richard Nailer, 9. Michael Ruru, 10. Kalamunda (6) v UWA (3) at Hartfield Park, Forrestfield
Last time they met: UWA 31 defeated Kalamunda 19 at McGillivray Oval, Mt Claremont
UWA will look to continue their giant-killing form when they head to Hartfield Park to tackle Kalamunda on Saturday.

The students, currently third, added last week’s scalp of second-placed Cottesloe (37-19) to their haul, that already included league-leaders Nedlands (22-16) from a fortnight earlier.

Kalamunda sits just three points off UWA and win this weekend would help their cause with less than a win separating third and sixth.

Last week Kalamunda received a much needed win against Palmyra to keep them in the race while UWA ‘s win over the Gulls moved them into third place.

UWA have kept their backline the same as last week, but have promoted Jack Connolly at lock.

Kalamunda: 1. Rangikin Paul, 2. Mark Royal, 3. Beau King, 4. Nikau Rangiwhetu, 5. Nick Pearson, 6. Jake Rumble, 7. Auega Seumanutafa, 8. Tala Moli, 9. Ryan Black, 10. Bruno Lancelle, 11. Natu Apineru, 12. David Kara, 13. Daley Harper, 14. Douglas Coradine, 15. Preston Elama.

Cottesloe (2) v Wanneroo (9) at the Harvey Field, Cottesloe
Last time they met: Cottesloe 66 defeated Wanneroo 10 at Kingsway Reserve, Landsdale.
After three consecutive losses, Cottesloe will be looking to get back on the winners list when they host Wanneroo at Harvey Field.

The Gulls started the season with nine consecutive victories, but have fallen to UWA, Nedlands and Associates in the last month.

Wanneroo are coming off a bye last weekend and will be looking to put in a better performance than there 92-12 thumping to Nedlands in Round 13.

Cottesloe will run out a potent back row that features try scoring No.8 Rory Crowhen, Western Force flanker Ryan Hodson and Australian Under 20 star, Ross Haylett-Petty.
