Gomes' union with rugby great

Aussie rugby union player Rocky Elsom is one lucky man.

The former Wallabies skipper, below, has landed one of Australia's most beautiful women, Perth-raised model Jessica Gomes.

The couple reportedly met an at event for car brand Volvo in August; the pair are both ambassadors for the brand.

"I'm so happy, it's nice," Gomes told an Eastern States publication, confirming the budding relationship with Europe-based Elsom, 31, for the first time.

But the 28-year-old face of David Jones was reluctant to elaborate, adding: "I have to respect his privacy as he's a very private person."

It marks the first relationship for Los Angeles- based Gomes since she ended her three-year relationship with property developer Sebastian Drapac last year.

Gomes will be back on the catwalk for David Jones' spring/summer launch at the end of next month.
