Red, White, Black and Blue - Cathay Flights

On my way home from the Philippines last week I watched two short docos by Stuart Krohn, American Captain at Rugby World Cup Sevens in Hong Kong 1997, who is now a high school teacher in South LA, USA where he is introducing rugby to wayward kids with amazing results. In the tow docos's he takes teams of under privileged kids, both boys and girls away to New Zealand and China, a pretty interesting watch if you happen to be on a Cathay flight soon.

This is the write up from the in flight magazine too.Name: IMAG0803.jpg

Details about the program he runs is available at www.icefps.org

    Well done Stu

I'm flying Cathay to Canada via Hong Kong on July 1st, so hope it's still showing then.

Good shout on the doco's TiF. Very inspiring stuff.

Reminded me a lot of School of hard knocks. UK weekly rugby show where Will Greenwood (ex-England & B&I Lions) & Scotty Quinnell (ex-Wales & B&I Lions) take unemployed youngsters who are having a hard time in life in to their rugby team, in an attempt to turn their lives around
