having played champ A grade for Curtin over the last couple of years, the players that form the core of the 1st and 2nds team have a high level of skill and pace, with decent fitness. What we lack is bulk. having watched some of the reserve grade game at wests on sat, some of those boys were pretty big and although i believe Curtin would be competitive in reserve grade we do not have the size to match the physicality of some of the teams week in week out. 1st grade is a further big leap, and without getting a couple more big bruisers in the team its a long way away. having said that, Saturday was a good day for Curtin with two good wins, plenty of sunshine and a good atmosphere....just need ARKs or Rocky to stumble in the next couple of games and steal a top four place.
