    2014 State Schoolboys Initial Squad

Congratulations to the following players who have been selected in the initial State Schoolboys squad.
There are a number of players still being viewed for selection so the squad may change over the next few weeks with players being brought in and others exited.

Training commences on Wednesday night with an Induction and on-field session.
The final touring squad will be selected at a later date to represent at the National Division 1 Championships in Sydney from 29th June to 5th July.

    Regards
    Dwayne Nestor

Looking through the list a couple of suprises..

Kauri Cudd, Comet Bay College, Nedlands
Tevin Ferris, Mandurah Baptist College, Nedlands

    That's a bit extreme isn't it?

Well done lads. Only 4 from PSA schools and very interesting to see the clubs they are aligned with.Pieter I watched a kid a few weeks back play for Wanneroo Gold 15's
,Played 7, think he was the captain, don't know his name but absolute weapon and a half, did he make it or is he too young.Kid has a huge future

Wests Scarborough 1st Grade juggernaut has played finals rugby each and every year since its inception and continues this remarkable feat yet again this season and unbelievably it's still rolling on and as an added little circle jerk for the masses Wests actually hold the record for the current longest unbroken finals record.

If it was U15( born 99) then he was to young only players born 98( mostly on invitation), 97 and 96 But yes the Wanneroo U15 have a few weapons in the team

Thanks Alison but Still need a lot of water to run into the ocean and a lot of hard work before they go on tour so yes very proud dad but it was easy to get into the squad compared to going on tour, we will celebrate once he is on the plane and not before that

Good eye Andrew. I was going to call that one myself.

Of course nobody in WA knows why there isn't a
Premier rugby club south of success do they?

Was thinking that but didn't want to make an unqualified comment. Hope those kids dont have to go all the way to Hillarys or somewhere for training. Might be detrimental to their schooling.

I suspect there's more than one proud dad, but only one using his actual name

I can understand that. But I reckon he's a star just for making it into the squad :-)) What position does he play?

Is Aranmore a rugby school? There well represented. I also thought it was good that there is a lot in the squad outside PSA schools.

Congratulations to all the boys, this is the future for rugby in WA. It will be interesting to watch these guys develop and hopefully represent the Force at a later date.
