2015 Squad Contract Renewals

At the pre-season meet-the-Members-meetings we were advised by the CEO that Kyle Godwin's signing was an indication of how the WF would be operating in 2014. Members could expect to see on-going evaluation of the players during the pre-season period and early games. More of the valued players would be signed signed early in the year so that it wasn't a distraction to the players during the season. This obviously hasn't happened.

I'm just expressing my concern that the year has not unfolded in the way were were informed that it would regarding an early resigning of valued players AND we have yet to announce any new players. At the same time it appears that the Nthn hemisphere clubs are offering big $$s to attract good players.

If we had those we wanted to keep already locked in then they wouldn't be listening to approaches from others.

I think Rugbywa has been giving us signing of importance:

Ably Mathewsson 2 more years, crucial signing
Angus Cotrelll 2 years crucial signing
Olie Hoskins and Adam Coleman 2 years, the future

I have taken MMM out he is confirmed. The Badge is still contracted to RugbyWA, he has only been released from his ARU contract and we may keep his spot open. I have nothing official on Cheese as yet, how long has he signed for?? If you have a link with something official, I'll get the list updated

Im more relating to Cheeseys facebook comment someone posted a while back, saying that it was the last time the front row would play together. Since Cheese has re-signed, and Longbottom is gone, its raises questions about Pek.

However with Kbomb gone, the front row won't be playing together again.......at least technically

Stubbs is another to add to the list of Western Force misses, but hey, that's the way it goes sometimes.

Could bring in Akihito Yamada and Juan Martin Hernandez as a marketing exercise next season. Play some trials or a mid-season-break game overseas, to generate some exposure.

We could do a trade with Japanese clubs and say he is a HB replacement which could get us an extra overseas player lol
