    Best 30 minutes of Rugby

Hodgo stated that last weeks game against the Rebels was the best 30 minutes of Rugby the Force has ever played.
    Is he right?
What other games do you think would challenge last weeks first 30?
Our first game against the crusaders at subi oval?
    Our first win at home?

I'd just like it if they could turn that 30 into a few more. Maybe 70 or 80. In the same game.

'cos to be fair, the 1st 30 of last week, plus the last 3 of the week before, makes it about 33 minutes in a row, but still I'd prefer to see >60 of that stuff.

Two games spring to mind. The first is our win against the Crusaders in 2010. We were down 13-0 at half time against a powerful Crusaders side. From about the 45th to the 75th minute we put in a powerhouse forward performance to take the game 24-16. Of the Crusaders 22 that game, only 3 did not have (or did not go on to have) international caps. One of those three is Robbie Fruean. 2008 against the Brumbies had another big 30 minutes. After about 30 minutes the Brumbies were ahead 22-0 and had their four try bonus point sewn up. Between the 30th and 60th minutes we put 26 points on them to take the game (29-22 at full time) with a bonus point win.

We'll get there. It will be really interesting to see how the combination of an ever-increasing pool of local talent and RSA supplements will go.

Thought so. The 2 hour response time gave it away. But pretty good comparisons.

Last minutes against hurricanes at spubi comes to mind. Drop goal against stormers although the rest of that game sucked. Cam Shepard tritry against brumbies on return from injury. Beating bulls in Pretoria

Some of the worst hurricanes David smith taking us apart on the wing, any game against the rebels previous to last game losing to the kings. There are a few more here but I do not wont to depress myself.

The highs and lows of rugby, the problem with the lows is that they are games we generally went into as favourites which is the forces problem.

Last 8 today was arguably their clock management coming of age.

I agree, bloody good effort. Pity about Big Ben. He was outstanding again.

I thought Coleman was robbed, binned for essentially making a tackle!

Now that it doesn't sound like sour grapes, who though the Ref kept the Landers in the game?
