I think the most important aspect that has not yet been highlighted, is that for two weeks in a row we have four Perth raised players in the match day 22.

    Longbottom, Holmes, Godwin and Hoskins.

This was one of the goals of having a team in Perth.

I am a bit lost with the bagging of Junior.

On this site we voted him the best rookie of the year!

All I ask for is some good playing. Combinations & running onto the ball with a bit of pizzazz!

The Force backline curse continues. The forwards were well below par last week as well unfortunately.
Tactically we were inept. The continuos kicking to Folau didn't rate highly on the rugby intelligence IQ

Wykes was absolute toilet. What does this club see in him? Why would Steenkamp get dropped for Wykes? I like a bit of Afrikaaner mongrel. Wykes wouldn't scare the girl guides.

Rasolea would go well on the wing. Delitt is too pedestrian to play wing but he is a good defender and when he played 13 a year or two back he went OK. Rasolea might develop into something good so I'm happy to give him some time.

Zack Holmes has a pop gun kicking game. 10's that can't kick shouldn't be playing professional rugby.

As usual, the backline has weaknesses everywhere. It's painful to watch

Lets get back to 9 man rugby.......ruck, maul and Mathewson sniping from the base. Backs are gayer than HIV

Sorry Rex, but in general play Zack has been the best kicker we have seen for about five years.

Nine man rugby will lose games hand over fist in the current day and age.

    Everything else, spot on!

The selection of Wykes over Steenkamp, WTF? I can't see how much better Wykes is than Battye, rather than our international Marquee.

Is Foley some distant relation of Breaker Morant perchance? Has someone close to him been butchered to make a Dutchman's holiday?

Half our squad is South African and yet there are 1 or 2 on the team sheet.

Foley had the chance to be rid of Wykes last year but chose to give him another two year contract. He owns Wykes and his performances. Have to believe that Battye's contract will not be renewed now. Shame. In the little game time he has had he has been the better option in the line out and just as mobile around the park.

All I can say is maybe steenkamp is carrying a niggle otherwise it just doesn't make sense. It so good to see the force repaying the faith Ollie showed them, it is also good to see Ollie working hard for it and belonging.

Like everyone else I am puzzled why Sam is on the starting side because in my mind and others he shouldn't even be warming the pine. I can only hope that Foley knows something I don't!
Today is an important day for the Force and I really hope they put on a damed good show, win, lose or draw.

I feel really sorry for Phoenix. He slogs his guts out in training, plays hard in the A side and for Wanneroo and yet he doesn't ever get a look in. Stubbs is another one in the same boat. It almost looks to me like Foles is playing favourites with some of his match day selections.....
