This isn't a rumour but wondering if there is a bit of a turf war going on? Perth-Baywater are trying to get some junior teams up and going in Ellenbrook. They set up shop at The Shops in Ellenbrook last weekend and from talking to the people manning it they were reasonably happy with the outcome. Training grounds here continue to be in short supply though.
Given that Wanneroo is not much more than a right turn down Gnangara Rd, and Swan Suburbs is a dash down the highway in Stratton, I thought it was a pretty brave move to test the waters so boldly!
Maybe they're putting some long term strategic relocation plans in place?
