Am still feeling sick in the stomach and depressed from that game. There was such a long list of what they shoulda done that it seems nothing has changed since last season. We were just back to square 1! No running onto the ball as mentioned before - flat footed, no running angles if any running! Something creative in attack would be nice for a change - what happened to all those plays from the end of last season? All it was was grinding up the centre and trying to bore over the tryline just like the same ol same ol. At least the scrums seemed to have improved from last week and the kicking was marginally better. (no more bloody high ball pleeeeezze!) Watched the replay and there were some good passages of play but they just didn't pull it off, just seemed so lethargic. But being in that hot humid sun was enough to fry anyone.
I really hope this is not the tone for the season!
