Did anybody figure out who was playing 6 last night. Shasta thought it was Rory until rory came on in the second half and removed all doubt.
I don't think it was Stander after seeing a number 8 who was three pick handles across the shoulders and almost as quick as the wingers. It'll be a full on shit fight between him and Benny Mac to see who starts.
Liked what I saw last night. Samoa definitely challenged for probably 50-60 minutes, and the boys responded well to that. But what I liked most was the complete absence of complacency from the force. To see them sixty or so up in a trial which means nothing and still see monster forwards hitting the breakdown like it was thirty seconds after kickoff. That bodes very well for the attitude.
I'm still not getting too optimistic, but I don't think we'll capitulate very often this year, now all we need is to see whether we'll be competitive.
