With the NRC, I wouldn't be expecting to see any of the full squad members at the end of the super rugby season, however you will probably see fringe players popping up as they are available in the early rounds

Not trolling nor sharkbaiting. I think you will find that a couple of clubs have been approached and told that perhaps a bit of financial incentive could secure players services for this season.

I don't think the northern dads are setting up an academy just yet!! But if they pull the numbers good luck. Perth Baysie put a lot of effort into an under 18's tour a couple of years ago with a tour to Sud Afrika, kids took the money and ran. We are dealing with a bigger issue in player attraction and retention than we all are aware of. Time to pull heads in and work together rather than letting tribalism kill off rugby as an attractive sport to stay with.

I didn't know that Nedlands have an Academy? I know that Joondalup have one which is run during the off season but not sure what the take up levels are like!
