Added to which, they seem to be a little sensitive about the match day staff mouthing off at the refs.

I would be hopeless at that job.

There's plenty to fill the gap you leave Gigs.

The kid who used to do it two or three years back got to watch most of the game. He seemed to enjoy it. I think they have to do a little bit of setting up beforehand and at the end of the game to come out with the sponsor backdrops. They also have to help out with the press conferences. The seats they get during the game are good too. It's not such a bad gig.

When I was 16th player for the Blues Match a couple of seasons ago.. "she who must be obeyed" gave me a rollicking for getting "enthusiastic" on the side line.. "not allowed".."don't do it again".... etc etc.. I told her if we score another try she had best arrange security to stop me running on the pitch and giving the boys some "lerv".... Mitch - Team manager at the time thought her attitude was hilarious.. !!! And as she is STILL a member of staff... I'd best not volunteer... we may come to blows...

For a moment I thought they were offering up a spot on the playing staff for a moment.

I would have stuck my hand up last season to do it with out thinking but this season I don't think I could control my emotions if we fail to deliver
