Naming rights sponsor?

Following on from the 2014 jersey thread

I have found an Australian website selling the 2014 Jersey with no naming rights sponsor and likewise for the training gear.

I was wondering do we have a major sponsor this year or if we are close to finalising a deal?

There is no major sponsor on board as yet. At the members' forum I went to late last year, Mark Sinderberry said they were talking to potential sponsors and didn't give the impression of being too concerned about it. Might be a bit more worried now though with only 50 odd days to the start of the Force's new season!

Not at all.

But it's an unfortunate fact that companies are more likely to sponsor a successful team then an unsuccessful one and the Force's history is not exactly paved with glory

Given how long we've known that Emirates are out of the picture, you'd like to think there is at least an emergency option. I wonder if RugbyWA has considered following in the Brumbies example and approaching one of the Universities.

I was wondering about Etihad as they're starting a Perth service later this year.

Do BHP sponsor a sports team anywhere? They make a lot out of WA so might want to recognise that?!
