The Song Lyric Challenge

Used to do this on another forum a while back.

Pretty simple rule:

1-2 sentences from a song, whoever guesses it correctly without googling it puts up the next challenge.

So if I went:

Stumblin' all the way, it's not such a beautiful day.

Someone would come back with:

Stumblin' - Powderfinger.
And then in the same post the next round.

Which is:

I wonder should I go or should I stay. The band only had one more song to play

Let the game begin!!!

Edit: any artist who covered the song is a correct answer.

Wow, googled it and got the answer, but had no idea.
Then got it up on You Tube and i can confirm that, whilst a child of the 80's I have never heard this song until 30 seconds ago - I also consider my self lucky up until 45 seconds ago!

That's because it's a 70's song, Ecky is older than he realises!!

I recognised the song after Googling, but didn't know it from the lyrics.

Well I bought the single, on 45, in the early '80's in Perth. I reckon 1982 or 1983.

Maybe I shall concede it is too obscure (5705 by City Boy for those interested) and go for the following:
